Landsec has announced a duo of football-focused concepts are to open at Liverpool ONE.  Crossbar, a new kind of football experience, and premium sports retailer, Pro:Direct Soccer, will be making their debuts at the destination next spring.

centre:mk, one of the UK’s prime retail destinations has announced that Katie Loxton and sister brand Joma Jewellery have signed, set to join the centre’s diverse line up later this year. The new store will be a unique dual-concept store, marking the brands’ third store in the UK, their first own retail store, and their first in the region.

Angel Central, Islington’s prime retail and leisure destination, has announced that Søstrene Grene, the Danish lifestyle brand, is to make its Islington debut at the centre. The signing is a double milestone as the brand is the first retailer to sign for a dedicated store on Angel Central’s upper level.

Merry Hill has announced a major wave of signings and reinvestments at the centre, covering nearly 20,000 sq ft in total. Lovisa, the international jewellery brand, has signed at the centre alongside Miniso and Select Apple. Flying Tiger and the UK’s biggest Savers have already opened, while Hotel Chocolat has relocated, and The Body Shop has renewed its commitment to the centre, reflecting a strong mix of investment and confidence from both new and existing tenants.

St James Quarter has announced that premium stationery retailer, Moleskine, is set to join the destination in the coming months, marking the brand’s only location outside of London, and its Scottish debut.

Shaftesbury Capital has announced that beloved gastropub, The Shaston Arms, has officially relaunched within the Soho neighbourhood, under a new, independent management team.  

Peel Retail & Leisure has announced that Clip ‘n Climb, the pre-eminent family friendly climbing attraction, will be opening its latest all-action venue at Gloucester Quays next year. The new 14,000 sq ft anchor located on the upper deck will further showcase the vibrant line-up at the destination and strengthen its mix of retail and leisure.  

SushiDog is opening at Bullring Birmingham in January 2026, bringing its famous customisable grab-and-go sushi to the Midlands for the very first time.

Railpen, manager of the £34bn railways pension scheme in the UK, has reported that Mountain Warehouse has opened its upsized location at Caledonia Park, the premium designer outlet village in Scotland. This comes off the back of a strong year for the destination, with year-to-date sales up 11% compared to 2024, and a raft of significant renewals. 

Landsec has announced 13,600 sq ft of new F&B additions to Liverpool ONE, as four independent operators sign at the leading retail and entertainment destination. Brewski, Jerk Junction and Iced are new to Liverpool, while local brand Madre is opening a brand-new sister venue in Liverpool ONE. 

Wax London, the contemporary British menswear brand, has opened its first store outside of the capital, launching within the historic Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The new 2,392 sq ft space sits alongside British heritage names including Barbour and Mulberry.

Peel Retail & Leisure has confirmed 8,000 sq ft of new menswear and gifting brands at Gloucester Quays, including the signings of a new Ben Sherman store, Label Yard and Menkind and the relocation and upsize of Crew Clothing. The completion of these lettings means Gloucester Quays is now 95% let or under offer.

Merry Hill, the top 10 super regional centre, has welcomed a trio of openings at its retail park, introducing 33,800 sq ft of new space as part of a comprehensive refurbishment of the now fully-let and trading site. B&Q has opened its latest store alongside Costa Coffee and Bensons for Beds, adding to the destination’s already diverse retail mix. 

Shaftesbury Capital has announced a flurry of leasing activity across its Carnaby Street and Soho portfolio, with the arrival of three brands in September and a further six new openings before Christmas, including two UK debuts.

RED Construction Group, the specialist main contractor, has announced its results for the 2025 financial year. Reporting a turnover of £170.8m, the company continues to achieve sustainable profit, with the near 50% turnover increase year-on-year supported by higher pre-tax profit margin.
