Wax London opens up first retail store outside of London
Wax London, the contemporary British menswear brand, has opened its first store outside of the capital, launching within the historic Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The new 2,392 sq ft space sits alongside British heritage names including Barbour and Mulberry.
The store has been designed to act as a physical showcase of Wax London’s ethos, bringing the brand’s focus on craft, character, and detail into a unique retail environment. Customers will discover carefully curated interiors that complement the brand’s collections and reflect its dedication to quality and longevity.
Some of their design highlights include the following:
Vintage oak Drapers’ tables with reclaimed storage drawers showcasing Wax’s sustainable approach
Aged brass shelving units and marble display plinths highlighting the brand’s diverse use of fabrics and textures
Custom Wax London fabric curtains in the fitting rooms offering a personal, tactile design detail
Oversized mirrors, oak-framed campaign photography, and curated wall merchandising that bring the collections to life in an immersive setting
Alongside its full menswear collection, the store will also feature accessories and footwear, giving customers the complete Wax London experience.
Roger Wightman, Managing Director at Wax London:
“I’m so excited to open our first store outside of London. Leeds has always been a key destination for us, and I’m really pleased with how the space has come together. Every detail of the store was carefully considered to reflect who we are as a brand – from the materials and finishes to the atmosphere we created. It’s a place where people can truly experience the essence of Wax London, brought to life through design, quality, and craft.”
Rachel Bradburn, Head of Leasing at Redical:
“Wax London is the latest in a long line of exceptional brands to call Victoria Leeds the home of its first store outside of London. Marking a pivotal point in the brand’s expansion, Wax London’s northern debut adds even more vibrancy and choice to our historic Victoria Quarter, building on our growing premium menswear offer.”
