The future of personalised accessories: Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery sign dual concept store at centre:mk

centre:mk, one of the UK’s prime retail destinations has announced that Katie Loxton and sister brand Joma Jewellery have signed, set to join the centre’s diverse line up later this year. The new store will be a unique dual-concept store, marking the brands’ third store in the UK, their first own retail store, and their first in the region.

The new 2,357 sq ft store will house both Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery concepts in one joint space with two dedicated entrances, offering a dual-brand retail experience. Both brands have built a strong online presence and are now expanding their physical presence in high-footfall locations. The new store will showcase their signature personalised handbags, accessories, home fragrances and other gifts, offering customers the option to have items embroidered or monogrammed in-store for a quick, same-day personalisation experience.

Joma Jewellery, known for its affordable and personalised pieces that celebrate special memories, will also debut a completely new customer experience where customers can book a one-hour session to create their own bracelet, choosing from a variety of coloured beads and charms that represent their story.

With its large catchment area and consistently high footfall, centre:mk offers compelling opportunities for retailers to reach a broad, diverse customer base.

Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s Centre Director, commented: “The jewellery and accessories categories perform extremely well here at centre:mk and the arrival of Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery will give our guests even more choice across our dynamic retail lineup. centre:mk’s significant regional reach and wealthy catchment makes it an ideal environment for brands like Katie Loxton to expand their physical presence, and being chosen to host their third UK store and first in the region further reinforces our position as a prime regionally dominant centre.”

Katie Loxton, Co-founder and Creative Director, Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery, added: “The signing of the new flagship store at centre:mk represents a significant milestone in our UK expansion. We’re committed to providing personalised, unique, and affordable jewellery and accessories that capture memories, with a focus on quality and bringing joy to every customer. The centre’s blend of complementary brands and high footfall makes it the perfect location for both Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery.

Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery will join centre:mk’s expansive retail line-up, alongside established brands like Oliver Bonas, Beaverbrooks, and The White Company. Love Local Hub, a dedicated pop-up space for small local businesses, has experienced significant success at the destination, highlighting the demand for gifts and accessories at the centre. Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery’s arrival will not only enhance the centre’s offer but also highlights the continued strength of Milton Keynes as a sought-after retail location.
