Merry Hill has announced a major wave of signings and reinvestments at the centre, covering nearly 20,000 sq ft in total. Lovisa, the international jewellery brand, has signed at the centre alongside Miniso and Select Apple. Flying Tiger and the UK’s biggest Savers have already opened, while Hotel Chocolat has relocated, and The Body Shop has renewed its commitment to the centre, reflecting a strong mix of investment and confidence from both new and existing tenants.

St James Quarter has announced that premium stationery retailer, Moleskine, is set to join the destination in the coming months, marking the brand’s only location outside of London, and its Scottish debut.

Shaftesbury Capital has announced that beloved gastropub, The Shaston Arms, has officially relaunched within the Soho neighbourhood, under a new, independent management team.  

Peel Retail & Leisure has announced that Clip ‘n Climb, the pre-eminent family friendly climbing attraction, will be opening its latest all-action venue at Gloucester Quays next year. The new 14,000 sq ft anchor located on the upper deck will further showcase the vibrant line-up at the destination and strengthen its mix of retail and leisure.  

SushiDog is opening at Bullring Birmingham in January 2026, bringing its famous customisable grab-and-go sushi to the Midlands for the very first time.

Railpen, manager of the £34bn railways pension scheme in the UK, has reported that Mountain Warehouse has opened its upsized location at Caledonia Park, the premium designer outlet village in Scotland. This comes off the back of a strong year for the destination, with year-to-date sales up 11% compared to 2024, and a raft of significant renewals. 

Landsec has announced 13,600 sq ft of new F&B additions to Liverpool ONE, as four independent operators sign at the leading retail and entertainment destination. Brewski, Jerk Junction and Iced are new to Liverpool, while local brand Madre is opening a brand-new sister venue in Liverpool ONE. 

Wax London, the contemporary British menswear brand, has opened its first store outside of the capital, launching within the historic Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The new 2,392 sq ft space sits alongside British heritage names including Barbour and Mulberry.

Peel Retail & Leisure has confirmed 8,000 sq ft of new menswear and gifting brands at Gloucester Quays, including the signings of a new Ben Sherman store, Label Yard and Menkind and the relocation and upsize of Crew Clothing. The completion of these lettings means Gloucester Quays is now 95% let or under offer.

RED Construction Group, the specialist main contractor, has announced its results for the 2025 financial year. Reporting a turnover of £170.8m, the company continues to achieve sustainable profit, with the near 50% turnover increase year-on-year supported by higher pre-tax profit margin.

Redical, owner of The Liberty Romford, and its development partner, HUB, are to hold a second public consultation exhibition on proposals to evolve the centre, with the team returning to the mall on the 14th and 17th October.

Victoria Leeds, owned and operated by Redical, has announced that London-based menswear retailer, Wax London, has signed to open its first store outside of London at Victoria Leeds.

The Metrocentre Partnership has announced that East-Asian inspired lifestyle brand KENJI will make its regional debut at Metrocentre in March 2026, bringing its playful fusion of culture, design, and lifestyle to Lower Green Mall.
