Butcher and the Farmer announces international debut at The O2

AEG and Crosstree Real Estate Partners have announced the international debut of Australian F&B brand Butcher and the Farmer at The O2, signing a farm-to-table concept focused on shared dining. The brand will join the expanding range of restaurants sitting alongside London’s premium outlet shopping destination, ICON Outlet at The O2. In addition, international bubble tea operator CoCo, is taking a unit whilst luxury gelato brand, Snowflake, has also signed for their latest site under the roof of The O2. Collectively, the brands will take over 8,100 sq ft of space.

  • Created by My Kitchen Rules2015 winners, Steve Flood and Will Stewart, Butcher and the Farmer’sfirst site launched in New South Wales, Australia. The brand has now selected The O2, as the first step in their international expansion and will take a 6,996 sq ft space, with 266 covers. Set to open in September, the farm-to-table concept is backed by executive chefs Will and Steve, who have curated a menu with simple, honest and delicious ingredients which are sourced directly from farmers and providers. 

  • Global bubble tea brand, CoCo, is set to take a 430 sq ft space in August. Famous for its world-renowned bubble tea, this will be the brand’s second store in London following their site in Soho. 

  •  London based luxury gelato brand, Snowflake, is also set to join The O2 in August and will take a 700 sq ft space, located opposite Oxygen Freejumping.

For our first restaurant in Europe, we wanted a popular location with huge potential and the developing area of North Greenwich in one of the most well-visited capitals in Europe, ticked the box for us.”
