Revo appoints CACI’s Dan Parr as Chair

Revo, the UK’s leading voice for retail and leisure places, has announced Dan Parr as the new Chair of its Executive Board and Stuart Harris as Vice Chair. Parr serves as Senior Vice President at CACI, the Consumer and Market Intelligence specialists, bringing extensive industry expertise and a strong understanding of Revo, having served as Vice Chair for the previous year. Stuart Harris is CEO of real estate developer Milligan working with Local Authorities, retail owners and strategic partners on future-led projects.

Revo has been a constant in the sector during a decade of structural upheaval, pandemic disruption and an extended cost-of-living crisis. The transition forms part of a planned refresh of Revo’s leadership to introduce annual Chair and Vice Chair appointments alongside a wider organisational reset and reorganisation undertaken last year. These are changes designed to strengthen its long-term impact through revitalised operations, authoritative insight and structural growth. It also reflects the depth and diversity of expertise across Revo’s Executive Board, which brings together senior leaders from influential organisations in the built environment.

Vivienne King, Founder of Impactful Places, held the position as Chair for the first year of the new regime. King’s stewardship has overseen the transition and further strengthened Revo’s position as a respected and influential voice for the industry. In particular, King has promoted inclusive practice in the sector, driving conversations that both support the progression of female talent into senior leadership roles and encourage place-based impact thinking in strategy design. King will continue to play an important role in Revo as a Director on the Board, while Parr’s move into the Chair position reflects the organisation’s commitment to fresh perspectives and diverse expertise as it builds for continued growth and impact.

At CACI, Dan Parr is a recognised expert in consumer behaviour, place performance and the changing relationship between people, brands and destinations. He brings a strong combination of market intelligence and strategic insight to Revo’s leadership. Parr’s expertise will further support Revo’s role as an advocate for collective excellence across the sector, uniting and representing stakeholders at every level – from owners and investors to operators, occupiers and supply chain partners.

Speaking on his appointment, Dan Parr, Chair of Revo’s Executive Board, said:

“It has been a privilege to serve Revo as a Board Member, and I am honoured to take on the role of Chair at such an important moment for our industry. Retail and leisure destinations are innovating, creating experiences and driving engagement in increasingly meaningful ways. As the sector continues to change, Revo’s role in bringing together diverse voices, sharing insight for data led progress has never been more important. I look forward to working with our members and partners to strengthen Revo’s reputation as a leading force in shaping the future of our industry.”

Commenting on the appointment, Vivienne King, former Chair of Revo’s Executive Board said:

"Serving as Revo’s Chair through a period of significant change has been immensely rewarding, strengthening the organisation's influence and positioning it even more effectively to support its members. Dan Parr is exceptionally well placed to build on this progress and lead Revo through its next phase of growth and operational excellence”.

Revo continues to be the recognised voice of retail and leisure places, championing the collective excellence and influence of its membership, and the positive impact of the sector’s role and contribution to society. Through its dynamic programme of study tours, awards, panel events and annual Conference, Revo continues to advance industry debate. This year’s Conference will take place on 29 September at Fulham Pier.
